I’m a literary translator working from French, Russian, Greek, and Portuguese into English.

About me

My interest in literary translation began during my MA at Bath University (2017), where I developed a particular enthusiasm for translating children’s literature. I was the recipient of the National Centre for Writing’s literary translator mentorship in 2020. My rhyming translation of Kolobok (Fontanka, 2021) won a PEN Translates award—the first translation from Russian for younger readers to win the award. My work has also been shortlisted for the John Dryden Prize and the AAWP Translation Prize. My second picture book will be published in 2025.
